A parklet is a park within a parking space. This parklet addresses access to public restrooms in downtown Eugene, a scarce resource.
The Loo with a View is ADA-accessible and collects rainwater for use, treating the water on-site with living systems and other water purifying technology. The elevation (above) shows the intricacies of the roof and design continuity through a stained glass window and bench. From the plan (below), you can see the automatic door, ADA layout, information board, and living filtration system.

The roof was inspired by the view from the site, the top of the Parcade parking garage downtown. Triangles were generated from a map of the Ridgeline trail system, a series of public recreation spaces that run through the foothills surrounding Eugene.
